The Story Behind GoBeercats
Originally from Chillicothe, OH Brandon found his passion for the Cincinnati Bearcats in the second grade, it only grew from there. As an alum of UC he needed to channel his thoughts, emotions, highs, and heartbreaks over the teams into a creative outlet. As the craft beer scene started to explode in Cincinnati Brandon found himself discussing the Bearcats with his friends at a new brewery every week. So, GoBeercats started as an obsession over two things, the Cincinnati Bearcats and craft beer.
What started as an anonymous Twitter handle to “test the waters” grew into a blog and now a podcast. The podcast is a solo effort for now with a plethora of guests ranging from Bearcats legends, sports writers and broadcasters, and sometimes like minded Bearcat-obsessed fans from social media.
Brandon currently resides on Cincinnati’s Westside.
